Business Data Analyst
We are a growing e-commerce company operating across multiple markets and sales channels. We are looking for a team member to take charge of business data analysis and provide insights that support key decision-making in the company. We are seeking someone who can analyze numbers and understands the relationships between sales, costs, margins, logistics, warehousing, production, and finance — and based on this, identifies areas for optimization and proposes solutions to increase company profitability.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for an analytical, meticulous, and independent person who can turn data into concrete business decisions. Professional experience is not required. If you have good analytical skills, can work with data, and learn quickly — we are also happy to speak with people who are just starting their journey in business analytics.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing the profitability of products, categories, sales channels, and overall company costs, as well as identifying areas for optimization.
- Calculating actual margins, taking into account purchasing, transport, commission, tax, warehousing, and advertising costs,
- Analyzing process efficiency, labor productivity, and task completion times, as well as developing and updating production standards,
- Inventory management — setting minimum inventory levels and analyzing product turnover,
- Automating reporting and processes using AI and no-code/low-code solutions,
- Creating simple automations and utilizing AI-assisted coding to streamline daily tasks.
Requirements
- Logical, analytical approach to problem-solving,
- Understanding the relationship between costs, margin, taxes, and profit,
- Ability to calculate profitability and evaluate cost-effectiveness (costs vs. revenue),
- Very good data analysis skills and the ability to draw business conclusions from data,
- Openness to using AI tools to streamline and automate work,
Nice to have
- Experience in e-commerce or cost/financial analysis,
- Proficiency in using no-code and low-code tools,
- Experience in building dashboards and automated reports.
